It’s hard to believe that today, Growing a Greener World just released its 11th of our 13 brand-new episodes for 2017.
I hope you’ve had a chance to watch them on-air or online. To make sure you have that opportunity, we post all our episodes directly on our website the first day they become available for broadcast.
And here’s an insider tip. Most stations are behind in their programming schedule so they aren’t airing our episodes as soon as they become available. So the only sure way to watch them as soon as possible is from our website.
We’ve heard from many of our viewers since April when our first episode of the season premiered. The feedback has been fantastic.
If we had to sum it up with one consistent theme it would be this: best shows ever! I agree.
The feedback we gleaned from your responses to our survey last year gave us valuable information we used to create this season’s shows. Let me just say, you are good! The suggestions were spot-on: more features on the gardener and their personal garden was the biggest request. And we responded.
Not surprisingly, those shows are among your favorites of the season.
And just in case you are behind on your GGWTV viewing, here are links to each of this season’s shows so far if you want to jump right to a specific episode:
801 – A Year in the Life of the Garden Farm, Pt.1 (March – July) (This is a behind-the-scenes look at a complete year of gardening and growing in my personal garden. It also serves as the set for a lot of the gardening how-to information we include in the show)
802 – A Year in the Life of the Garden Farm, Pt. 2 (July – January)
803 – Epic Tomatoes with Craig LeHoullier (A season of following Epic Tomatoes author, Craig LeHoullier in his driveway tomato garden where he harvests a ton of produce each season)

811 – The Compost Pedallers (Enjoy this inspiring story of two young Austin, TX entrepreneurs who turned their vision of using bicycles and pedal power to collect compostable waste from urban neighborhoods and turn it into a thriving and sustainable business)
Our New Companion Website is Live (Including a New Podcast Series!)
Another thing we confirmed from that important survey was that you wanted more gardening information! While we’re limited in just how much of that we can bring you in a single television episode, we created our companion website, joegardener.com, to give you everything you want.
Each week we’re adding new articles, a podcast episode, and a high-quality how-to video that’s timely for the season.
We’re in rapid growth mode at the moment but we just soft-launched a week ago and now we’re ready to share it with you. Please take a moment to check out our brand new companion website including our new podcast series, The joe gardener Show, or our new videos. We’re adding more of everything each week.
To help you navigate the site, allow me to suggest our most popular video currently:How to Build the Ultimate Tomato Cage, and our most listened-to podcast, Episode 003-Epic Tomatoes with Craig LeHoullier.
I suggest you watch the television episode we featured with Craig in episode 803 AND listen to the podcast. It’s the perfect one-two punch that really completes the picture of this fascinating gardener and his story.
And if you’re a fan of audio like I am, don’t miss a single episode of our new series. We have a new podcast releasing every week. You can subscribe on iTunes, Stitcher or SoundCloud, or your favorite podcast player.
That should do it for now and I think you are all caught up. It’s been a very busy and exciting year. I so appreciate that you are a part of it.
Thanks for being the best part of what we do.
